What is Bilt Rewards?

Bilt Rewards is a rent rewards program that gives participating residents rewards points on every rent payment. You’ll now be able to earn points and access exclusive benefits on rent payments, local dining, rideshare, fitness and more. Transfer your points 1:1 for your favorite airline and hotel programs, or even a down payment on a home. 

What if I don’t want to create a Bilt Rewards account?

Invitation Homes has moved your rent payment account to the Bilt Rewards payment platform. You will earn points on every rent payment. You do not have to redeem your points, but you must pay rent through Bilt Rewards.

How do I create a Bilt Rewards account?

Creating a Bilt Rewards account is easy.  

Note: Make sure the email and phone number you provide are valid as they are needed for login and 2-factor authentication (2FA).

  1. Go to Biltrewards.com and click "Sign up/ Log in"

  2. Type in your email and create a password.

  3. Add or confirm your personal information

  4. Choose how you'll earn points (option A or B)

    • Create an account with the Bilt Mastercard®, (this is a credit card application)

    • Create an account without the Bilt Mastercard

  5. Enter the 5-digit code sent to your phone number to verify your account


How do I pay my rent with Bilt Rewards?

To make your next rent payment, please follow these steps or click here for more information:     

  1. On the "Pay Rent" tab in Bilt, click “Pay full balance”     

  2. Under "Payment Method," select your preferred payment method and review the payment details.    

  3. When you're ready to submit your payment, click "Pay." A confirmation will appear. 


How do I set up autopay on my Bilt Rewards account?

Set up autopay on your Bilt Rewards account by following these steps: 

  1. Select the "Pay Rent" tab 

  2. Click "Autopay" (if you're using the Bilt app, tap "Autopay for Rent") 

  3. Confirm your autopay settings, then tap or click “Complete set up” 

  4. A confirmation screen will appear confirming your autopay setup. Tap or click "OK" and that's it! You've successfully set up your scheduled autopay for rent. 

To turn off autopay for rent: 

  • On the "Pay Rent" tab, tap or click "Autopay settings" 

  • Tap or click “Turn off recurring payments” 


Can I keep paying rent through my Invitation Homes Resident Payment Portal?

No, you can no longer pay rent through your Invitation Homes Resident Payment Portal. We have discontinued your old payment portal account. Your rent payment account is now connected to the Bilt Rewards payment platform. You must pay rent through the Bilt Rewards payment platform. 

What if I have autopay set up on my Invitation Homes Resident Payment Portal?

You must cancel autopay on the Invitation Homes Resident Payment Portal before rent is due to prevent duplicate payments, if you haven’t already.       

   Canceling autopay is easy:    

  1. Go to your RentCafe Resident Payment Portal    

  2. Select the "Auto-pay Setup" tab   

  3. Go to the payment account listed below and click “DELETE”


What does in-network mean?

In-Network is the term we use to refer to residents who rent at Bilt Alliance properties . Because you live at a Bilt Alliance property, you're an in-network Bilt member!
